Online Video Chat Community Guidelines

ShagleCall exists to help people begin spontaneous one-to-one conversations. Every match involves another person who should be treated with respect. These Community Guidelines explain the behaviour expected from users, the types of conduct that are not permitted and the actions ShagleCall may take when rules are violated. By using the service, you agree to follow these guidelines together with the Terms of Service.

Respect the Other Person

Disagreement is allowed. Abuse is not.

Users must not

  • Harass, threaten or intimidate another person
  • Use hateful or degrading language
  • Pressure someone to continue a conversation
  • Shame someone for using Next
  • Repeatedly ignore stated boundaries
  • Encourage another person to harm themselves or others
  • Target users based on protected characteristics

Users must not display, request, distribute or encourage prohibited sexual or explicit content. ShagleCall may immediately restrict or terminate access when serious violations occur.

This includes conduct involving

  • Non-consensual exposure
  • Sexual harassment
  • Requests for intimate material
  • Exploitative or coercive behaviour
  • Any sexual content involving minors
  • Attempts to move users into non-consensual sexual interactions

Protect Minors

Users must meet the minimum age stated in the Terms of Service. Suspected child exploitation may be reported to relevant authorities or organisations where required by law. Replace the minimum-age placeholder in the Terms before publication.

Users must not

  • Misrepresent their age
  • Seek sexual contact with minors
  • Request images or private information from minors
  • Groom, exploit or manipulate a minor

Users must not

  • Ask strangers to transfer money
  • Promote fraudulent investments
  • Request gift cards or payment codes
  • Impersonate a company, support agent or public authority
  • Attempt to obtain passwords
  • Request identity documents
  • Send phishing links
  • Promote deceptive financial schemes

Do Not Share Illegal or Harmful Content

The service is intended for social conversation, not illegal activity.

Users must not use the service to

  • Promote terrorism or violent extremism
  • Distribute malware
  • Facilitate unauthorised access to systems

Do Not Impersonate or Deceive for Harmful Purposes

Parody or role-play that is clearly understood by everyone is different from deception intended to obtain money, private information or access.

Users must not impersonate

  • Another private person
  • ShagleCall staff
  • Law enforcement
  • A government authority
  • A financial institution
  • A business representative

Respect Privacy and Consent

Do not

  • Publish another user's personal information
  • Record or distribute another user's content without permission
  • Pressure someone to reveal their identity
  • Share private images without consent
  • Attempt to locate someone offline
  • Encourage harassment outside the platform

Do Not Spam or Manipulate Matching

Promotional activity may be restricted even when the promoted product itself is legal.

Users must not

  • Use automated tools to create matches
  • Operate unauthorised bots
  • Send repeated advertisements
  • Create multiple accounts to avoid enforcement
  • Manipulate free-credit eligibility
  • Interfere with platform operation
  • Attempt to reverse engineer protected systems
  • Use the service to drive users to deceptive websites

Use Next, Block and Report Appropriately

Use Next when you simply want another conversation. Use block when you do not want further interaction. Use report when behaviour may violate these guidelines. Do not submit deliberately false reports to punish another user for leaving or disagreeing with you. ShagleCall may consider the available context when reviewing reports.

How Enforcement May Work

ShagleCall does not guarantee that every report will result in a specific action. Enforcement decisions may depend on the information available.

Depending on the severity, history and available evidence, ShagleCall may

  • Issue a warning
  • Limit access to matching
  • Remove content
  • Remove promotional credits
  • Suspend an account
  • Terminate an account
  • Restrict a device or network
  • Preserve information when required by law
  • Refer serious matters to relevant authorities

Appeals

Submitting an appeal does not guarantee reversal.

Where an appeal process is available, users may contact [email protected] and provide

  • The account information needed to identify the decision
  • A short explanation
  • Relevant context
  • Any evidence that does not expose another person unnecessarily

Changes to These Guidelines

ShagleCall may update these Community Guidelines as the service, risks or legal requirements change. Continued use after an update may be governed by the revised guidelines as explained in the Terms of Service.

The page should show

  • Effective date
  • Last updated date
